浙江吉利动力总成研究院成立于2013年8月，总部设在宁波慈溪，在杭州、台州和上海设有分院。现有研发及实验人员1000余人，其中博士后及博士20余人，硕士学历以上工程师占比15%，拥有30余名来自日本、韩国、加拿大、美国及30余名国内行业技术专家的国际化人才队伍。

2014年，动力总成研究院厚积薄发，不负众望，1.3T发动机凭借卓越性能作为中国首款自主研发动力产品荣获2014年度“中国心”全国十佳发动机称号，引领吉利进入“T”时代；2015年，由动力总成研究院研发团队倾力打造的1.8T发动机、6G35V、4G24发动机搭载的吉利首款中高级车博瑞顺利上市，成为国家外交礼宾车，动力总成携手博瑞进入新纪元。此外，在研的1.0TD、1.5TD、7DCT系列产品联合VOLVO、FEV、CEVT也将一展国际研发先进水平......

In 2014，Powertrain Research Institute is always take proper action before extensive preparation.As the first domestically developed powertrain products，1.3T engine was selected as the top ten engine in China for its excellent performance which leading Geely into the T-era.In 2015，intermediate car Borui , has 1.8T engine and 6G35V,4G24 ,developed by Powertrain Research Institute came into the market and became national diplomatic limousine. Powertrain Research Institute entered a new era with Borui.Moreover, 1.0TD、1.5TD、7DCT under researchandVOLVO、FEV、CEVT will show off the advancedinternationalresearch and development level.

在世界排放法规和油耗法规日益严格的背景下，动力研究院明确了以集成涡轮增压、缸内直喷、DVVT、智能热管理、深度混合动力等先进技术的高效发动机搭载高效的双离合变速器、自动变速器的动力总成技术路线。目前正在自主开发国际领先的三缸1.0L增压直喷汽油机，其动力性、经济性均达到世界先进水平。同时，动力总成研究院还与沃尔沃汽车开展战略合作，联合开发1.5L增压直喷汽油机和高效的7DCT双离合变速器，产品均达到世界领先水平，达到欧美市场苛刻的法规要求。动力研究院承担研发的ESD电子传动技术等数项国家“863计划”已经进入产业化阶段，是国内唯一正向开发深度混合动力技术的研发中心。在汽车产业竞争日益激烈的环境下，吉利动力总成研究院将进一步与沃尔沃展开全面合作，充分整合各方优势资源，共同研发出具有国际领先水平的动力总成产品。
