WIST,March 1--The academic and cultural exchange activitiesfor international students majoring inModernLogisticsManagementwerejointly organized by the School of InternationalCulturalExchange(SICE)andthe School of Business and Trade(SBT)onFriday. Two teachers, Liu Xiaofei and FanWei, from the Logistics Teaching and Research Office, nine students from Thailand majoring in Modern Logistics Managementof SBT, and teachers and students from Suratthani Technical College(STC)of Thailand participated in this activitiesonline and offline.

Liuchaired the event. He introduced the activitiesmainly includedthepresentationinChinese by Thai students at WIST, andonlineexchanges between Thai studentsat WISTand studentsat STC.
During the on-site interaction,the Thai students at WISTintroduced themselves in Chinese. They shared their learning experiences with the teachers and students present, fully demonstrating the charm of the language and cultural exchangebetween China and Thailand.

They alsoshowcased their expertise in logistics to their counterparts from Thailand based on their learning experiences. They actively described their study at WIST.Despitestudying indifferent countries,both the Thai students in China and those in Thailandhad many similarities and are allstriving to achieve their dreams, said students at STC.

This event created a platform fortheinternational studentsof WISTand the studentsatThai colleges to collaborate on majors, engage in cultural exchanges, and rekindle their friendship. It expands students’ professionalandinternational perspectives and enhanced their multicultural communication and interpersonal skills, according to the teachers of WIST and STC.
