WIST,August 15-- The 2023 Education Plus (7th) China (Changsha) International Vocational Education Conference and Industry-Education Integration Expo was grandly held in Changsha, Hunan Province. Mo Xiaojin, Dean of the Sino-German College of Vocational Education, and officer Lu Rui attended the (4th) Sino-German International Seminar on Industry-Education Integration in Vocational Education at the conference. WIST was selected in the first batch of 100 “China-Europe Internship and Employment Talent Training Bases” and received a license.
The conference was organized by the Sino-German Alliance of Enterprises and Education (SGAEE), with special support from the European-Chinese “Belt and Road” Culture, Education, Tourism, and Economic and Trade Development Committee. The conference featured the launch ceremony of the China-Europe Internship and Employment Talent Training Bases (CEIE). As a collaborative platform for the Youth International Internship and Exchange Program led by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, CEIE aims to provide high-quality internships and employment opportunities for German-funded and Chinese-funded enterprises in Europe, based on Germany’s dual system concept and the specific talent needs of enterprises. It establishes a premium “learning-internship-employment” channel under the mode of industry-education integration, assisting partner colleges in establishing a comprehensive Sino-German vocational education talent training system. It establishes overseas training centers and learning centers, implements Sino-German training and talent exchange projects with a focus on employment, and promotes the development of vocational education in China.

WIST will fully utilize platforms such as the Sino-German Alliance of Enterprises and Education and the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project of the Ministry of Education to enhance international cooperation in industry-education integration. WIST will establish and introduce a number of influential international standards, resources, and equipment in vocational education, continuously promoting high-quality development of international exchanges and cooperation in vocational education.
