Going global: SEEE organizes training for employees of Chinese enterprises overseas

WIST,December 18-- The School ofElectronics andElectrical Engineering(SEEE)organized a training on “Fault Judgement of Transmission and Distribution Lines and Cables” for Chinese and foreign employees of the Kundiawa Substation Project Team in Papua New Guinea undertaken by China. This training was conducted through a video conference and involved teachers such as Zhu Bu and Pan Huan.

After the training, the participants also discussed and exchanged specific construction techniques based on local voltage, insulation requirements, and other specific conditions.

In the early stage,SEEEcontinuously enhanced the teaching and scientific research in electrical installation, commissioning, and construction technology. Thefaculty researched thechallenges faced by overseas Chinese-funded enterprises and organized a team oftrainers, including Zhu Fu, Tang Yiming, and Pan Huan,to work outsolutions. This training further strengthensthe construction of the relevant majors, laying a foundation for more in-depth scientific and technological services.
